Thank you Fodrie Family for sharing these precious moments with all of us. As mothers our hearts are rejoicing in the miracles you have seen in the past few days. Life is precious ... Thank you too Alyson for sharing your time and talents. Thank the Lord for the new technology - digital cameras, facebook, the internet, all the ways we hold together now in this new world. Because of all those tools this has been a moment by moment international experience for everyone. Love and prayers continue ... KA
Oh my gosh, I am totally overwhelmed and in loves with this beautiful little girl. WE will keep praying but when you get a chance please keep us abreast of specific prayer needs. By the way, it is amazing with the scale and her little legs straight up. Strong baby girl, keep up the fight. Your entire family is beautiful. If you ever need specific trisomy questions please feel free to call or ask.
Thank you for sharing with us. I have asked for you to be added to the prayer list at my parents' church too. Heaven is surely aware of this little miracle.

On January 7, 2010, at 5:11am, Sydney Grace Fodrie was born to Joel, Lindsey and big brother Rafe, weighing 4lb 4oz and measuring 15 1/2 inches long. She had a chromosomal abnormality called Trisomy 18, or Edwards Syndrome. While she was not expected to live through childbirth, Sydney Grace defied the odds. She miraculously lived for twenty days, passing on January 27, 2010. Sydney Grace touched thousands of lives and it is our hope through this blog, she will continue to do so.
.......TO LIVE WITH THE CONSCIOUS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SHADOW OF UNCERTAINTY, WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THAT DISASTER OR TRAGEDY COULD STRIKE AT ANY TIME; TO BE AFRAID AND TO KNOW AND ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR FEAR, AND STILL TO LIVE CREATIVELY AND WITH UNSTINTING LOVE: THAT IS TO LIVE WITH GRACE. PETER HENRY ABRAHAMS
